Young Audiences of Maryland is transforming students’ education through arts education in powerful ways! Whether you are already familiar with our organization or know little about us, you are invited to learn more about mission, our methods, and our future plans during a virtual Meet Young Audiences event.
Our work of expanding access to arts learning experiences for all Maryland students would not be possible without the help of many dedicated and passionate volunteers. We invite you to join us in our work—there are many ways you can help.
The single most important way you can help Young Audiences is by introducing people to the organization and to our mission. It’s easy! If you belong to a group of committed parents, have a group of friends that patronize the arts together, or work at a company that wants to give back to the community, consider becoming a virtual event host. Our events, hosted on Zoom, educate attendees about the role the arts can play in education in a fun, easy-to-understand way.
Young Audiences/Arts for Learning, founded in Baltimore in 1950, is the country’s foremost arts-in-education nonprofit organization. The Maryland chapter of Young Audiences provides more than 9,000 arts education opportunities to nearly 200,000 students, artists, and educators throughout the state each year.
