Rumpled

Artist: Single Carrot Theatre

Type: Assemblies / Performances

Description

Bring a full-fledged theatrical production to your school! Rumpled is a fractured fairy tale of Rumplestiltskin. In this theatre assembly, the play centers on normal girl Edith’s attempts to climb the fashion industry ladder. Along the way, we meet the King of the fashion world and a fashion troll named Rumplestiltskin. The play explores issues of cheating and plagiarism with the use of movement, voice, humor, music—and of course—love. Elaborate costumes, audience participation, improvisation and hilarious action sequences leave students howling with laughter at this reinvented classic.
