Road Signs demonstrates the direct link between visual theatre and literacy. This theatre assembly celebrates deaf culture through an entertaining mixture of story theatre, mime, A-B-C stories, poetry, and songs performed in American Sign Language (ASL). The Asian Age newspaper raved, “To say that Road Signs was a series of short pieces acted, mimed, signed and danced, would be like saying a sentence is a string of words.”
