Through my work with Young Audiences of Maryland I have been given the opportunity, along with the other excellent performers on their roster, to reach those students who might never have had the opportunity to see a live performance of theatre, music, dance, or poetry.
Whether or not a child will be inclined to follow the arts in their lifetime as a patron or as a professional is not the point. The point is that they should at least have the chance to be exposed to it. Young Audiences has provided that chance for many, and I am very privileged to be a part of that process.
Classical and comedic actor, Tim Marrone, received his training at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City and has appeared on stage throughout the Northeast. For ten years, Tim served as a founding member of the Maryland-based clown/theatre troupe Theatricks. He has appeared as a silent comic character in and around the Baltimore area and has co-written and performed productions as a physical comedian. Tim teaches theatre and movement at the Baltimore School for the Arts.
He had the children eager to participate in the play. Almost every student had their hands up during the performance--excited to join in the play.”

Tim used humor to educate the students on the history of Shakespeare.
