Synetic Theater emerged from the creative vision of founders Paata and Irina Tsikurishvili, Georgian artists who moved to the United States in the 1990s. Trained in dance, theatre and film, the Tsikurishvilis combine movement, music, technology, and visual arts that transcend the limitations of language.
The performers were just amazing…the kids absolutely loved the show. This was the best cultural event of our school year.

The entire student body and teachers were able to appreciate the theater art form in a whole new and exciting way, with the second graders benefitting from the cumulative hands-on experience. All students and teachers involved in the residency were engaged and enthusiastic and gained a wealth of knowledge from the performers. The entire school population benefited from exposure to a different art form than is in the current arts curriculum offered at the primary level. The gentlemen at Synetic were engaging, professional, and kept our students' rapt attention as they navigated through theater concepts. Teachers and students alike were very inspired by Synetic's abilities as performers as well as instructors.

Thank you so much, Tori and Peter! This was one of the best AIR (artist-in-residence) weeks the first-grade team experienced. Thank you again for your dedication, organization, and sensitivity to each student.
